Information involved
If you email us, we receive your email address, name where provided, message and any information you choose to include. We use this information to respond, assess a proposed brief and manage the business relationship.
This website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Hosting and security services process technical request information, which may include your IP address, browser details and request time. Email is handled through Microsoft 365. These providers process information as part of operating their services.
Cookies and analytics
We have not added advertising trackers, audience analytics or optional website cookies. The website does not contain an enquiry form. Email links open your own email service, which has its own privacy settings. Hosting security features may operate as necessary to deliver and protect the site.
Purposes and legal basis
We process ordinary business enquiries for our legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and running the business. Where you request steps toward a contract, that may also be the applicable basis. Legal obligations may require us to retain certain business records. We do not sell enquiry information.
Sharing and international processing
Information is shared with service providers where necessary to host the website, deliver email and manage an enquiry. Their systems may process information outside the UK. Applicable transfer protections depend on the provider and service arrangements. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement for their published information.
Retention
We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as it is reasonably needed to manage the enquiry, any resulting engagement and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the relationship and type of record. You can ask us about or request deletion of your enquiry information.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, and obtain certain information in a portable format. Contact us to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Commissioned research
The scope, information handling and permitted use of a commissioned dataset are addressed separately when agreeing an engagement. This notice does not imply that public availability removes data protection responsibilities.
